Candle Cocoa was born in San Diego out of a personal necessity: the desire for a high-quality, luxury candle that didn’t compromise on health. We realized that many candles on the market were filled with paraffin and synthetic “boosters” that didn’t belong in a home. We wanted something better—so we decided to make it.

Clean wax. Complex scents. Zero compromises.” We spent months obsessing over the details. We chose 100% natural soy wax for its clean, slow burn. We sourced phthalate-free oils that evoke memories rather than headaches. Every “Cocoa” swirl and every cotton wick is placed with the intention of creating a ritual, not just a product.

Candle Cocoa & Co. began not in a factory, but in a childhood moment—when a little girl, age six, discovered the joy of shaping wax, wicks, and color into something warm and meaningful. That girl was me. Growing up, I filled summers with art and craft classes, but the one that truly captured my heart was candle-making. It wasn’t just a hobby—it became a calling. Over time, this spark grew into a dream: to create a cozy corner where candles are crafted not just with scent, but with soul. My family legacy also runs deep in formulation—my father and forefathers poured their passion into making soaps, shampoos, and everyday essentials from scratch. Watching them create, with care and integrity, inspired me to follow a similar path—but rooted in my own love for gentle, sensory experiences. As someone with sensitive skin, I’ve come to deeply understand the need for clean, non-toxic, skin-safe products. That’s why every Candle Cocoa piece is thoughtfully designed to be kind—to your skin, your senses, and the earth. We now offer over 50+ scented candles, fragrance-free decorative collections, gel and floating candles, and we’re expanding into bath salts and hand creams. Each product is handcrafted with natural ingredients, free from parabens, sulfates, and harsh additives.
